Tool Manufacture

For the cost-efficient, reliable and quick manufacturing of a reflector in series
several, partly complex tools are required. ACL-Lichttechnik GmbH designs and manufactures these tools by themselves in the in-house tool manufacturing department. An experienced and qualified team of designers and tool makers takes advantage of state-of-the-art 3D-supported CAD/CAM software as well as high-precision, CNC-controlled tool machines. The major tool types include:

- Punching tools
- Pneumatic punching tools,
- Subsequent progression tools,
- Spinning tools and
- Bending and edging tools.

All tools are characterised by a high degree of precision, reliability and long service life. Depending on the degree of difficulty ACL-Lichttechnik GmbH requires between a few days for a spinning tool to several weeks for a complex subsequent progression tool. The fast tool availability is thus guaranteed.
