General information on the ACL Reflector Programme
- The ACL Reflector Programme only contains high quality standard reflectors best suited to always provide the most appropriate type of light.
- All high specular finished round reflectors mentioned are made of aluminium 99,5%, one-sided clad with super pure aluminium 99,98% (20%) or super pure aluminium 99,9%.
The design, the manufacture and the selling of all reflectors made by ACL-
Lichttechnik GmbH are effected in the framework of a quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.
- The overall diameter of every single round reflector with a flange can be altered.
Information on the smallest possible outside diameter for spotlight reflectors can be found under "Note" on the corresponding product page. In case of all other models please ask our sales department whether your requested diameter can be realised. Furthermore, several round reflectors can be supplied with a folded over flange
- Both the photometric data shown on each product sheet and further photometric data are available in Eulumdat as well as IES format so that they can be easily transferred into conventional light calculating programmes world-wide. All photometric information is according to the current photometric standards. For example the European standard DIN EN 12464-1 "Indoor Workplace Lighting" has been accounted for.
- We expressly inform you that all measurements were made without the use of clear hardened safety glasses. The use of these glasses in our reflectors results in a change of the light output ratio.
- Each reflector in the ACL Reflector Programme bears a distinct order code which is put together as follows:

- The lamp types stated in our product tables are recommended. Depending on the type of fitting and the operating conditions of the luminaire other lamp types can be used.
- We expressly inform you that the anodised finishes of our reflectors are only heat-resistant up to 120° C. The lamp manufacturer is responsible for ensuring that the operating conditions do not result in damages of the anodised finish by adequate measures. Especially in case of very compact reflector shapes and the use of high-performance discharge lamps it has to be made sure that any heat accumulation in the reflector is prevented. Moreover, when deviating from the recommended lamp(s) used the change in photometric values has to be considered.
